4ft Synapse LED Data Center Fixture

Engineered specifically for Data Centers and their challenges.

SKU 1ST-SYN4 Category

Certifications

The work surface in a data center is the vertical face of the server cabinet, not the floor. The 4ft Synapse uses an angled LED tray that throws peak candela outward toward the rack faces on either side of the aisle, targeting 40 to 50 vertical footcandles across the 3 to 6-foot work zone. Its shorter length suits containment aisles and rows where the 8ft fixture overshoots the cabinet run. FCC Part 15 Class B drivers hold emissions 6 to 10 dB tighter than the Class A drivers in most commercial fixtures, protecting 25 and 100 Gbps transceivers from lighting-induced interference. Two rear access plates allow power to be carried through to the next fixture without removing the LBAT acrylic lens. At 42W delivering approximately 7,500 lumens at 178 lm/W, the Synapse holds down both direct draw and secondary cooling load.

Ideal Applications

  • Hot Aisle and Cold Aisle Containment Zones
  • AI and HPC Server Halls (White Space)
  • Data Center Electrical and UPS Rooms
  • Colocation Facilities
  • Network and Distribution Rooms
  • Federal and DoD Data Centers (BAA/BABA Compliant)

Highlights

Engineered for the vertical work surface of the server aisle.

V-Tray Optics

An angled LED tray throws light outward to the rack face for 40 to 50 vertical footcandles, where standard downward fixtures light the floor.

FCC Part 15 Class B

Shielded drivers run 6 to 10 dB tighter than Class A, protecting high-speed network transceivers from lighting-induced interference.

Through-Wiring, Dual Access Plates

Wire and daisy-chain along the cable tray without removing the lens or opening the optical face.

LBAT Acrylic Lens

The frosted LBAT-style lens slides into a side channel for a clean diffused face with no exposed fasteners and 9 to 10% transmission loss.

Vented Aluminum Housing

Passive convective cooling keeps junction temperature low, protecting lumen maintenance and L70 life.

42 Watts / 7,500 Lumens

178 lm/W delivered efficacy minimizes cooling load in thermally constrained server halls.

Versatile Mounting

Cable/chain, pendant, or surface mount adapts to white-space ceiling heights and containment structures, positioning the fixture at the 8 to 10-foot height the V-tray optics are calibrated for.

5-Year Warranty

Driver, LEDs, and housing covered.

Specifications

Built for the server hall, not adapted from a warehouse fixture.
