The Cool Cob Series acts as a stand alone LED grow light or supplemental light for a variety of applications including grow tents, greenhouses, commercial facilities, etc.
Options range from horticulture module for increased Red and Blue spectrum and 2700k to 6500k color temperature. All based off of the Luminus CoB platform.
The Cool Cob series by Grow-it-LED is an excellent choice over other COB LED grow lights on the market, we take great pride in providing a high-quality product that is sure to impress. The Cool Cob series features high powered 22mm to 32mm Cob technology from Luminus LED. Our current standard offering utilizes special horticulture based Cob phosphor material that outputs a specialized spectrum for increased plant absorption with peaks in red and blue. Ranging from 60w to 240w the product offering ranges from supplemental to stand-alone grow light. Utilizing a high-quality passive heatsink, Meanwell HBG series driver, standard dimming offering down to 10%, in-line junction box with power switch and dimming control these Cool Cobs are built to last.
The performance of the heatsink is rated to 84w for the 60w Cool Cob and 335w for the 240w Cool Cob. The overbuilt passive cooling performance ensuring that the Cob runs cool and will withstand the test of time. Estimated L70 (time in which it takes the Cob to reach 70% of its initial output) is 50,000 to 100,000 hours or 5.7 years of continuous use.
High-efficiency HBG series Meanwell drivers offer a higher umol/J over other LED drivers, which means less draw from the wall while still producing the same amount of photons. Coupled with our dimming system, efficiency can be increased by dimming down the fixture during vegging.
Wireless Casambi control is available for this product along with the Aegis Series and Excalibur Series.
The Cool Cob Series is plug and play out of the box, no assembly required.
The Cool Cob series offers several options when it comes to Cob technology, our current basic option is the Gen 3 Horticulture Module from Luminus.
Other options available are:
